Meet The Board of Directors

Founder & Executive Director

Regina Robinson-Harris 

 

Regina is a professional with experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy in the private and public sectors, where she represented some of the top Fortune 500 industry leaders. 

She is the Chief Financial Officer of the second largest educational system in New Jersey, where she oversees the business and operational affairs of a billion-dollar entity, including five million square feet of classroom space. 

Regina holds a Master's in Educational Leadership and Accounting from Kean University and is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership at Stockton University. She's a licensed NJ School Business Administrator and has the International School of Finance and Operations designation from the Association of School Business Officials International. A licensed NJ Qualified Purchasing Agent and a member of the State of New Jersey Notary Public Commission. She has attended several leadership programs, including Cultivating Intergenerational Equity in Schools, Creating Alignment in VUCA Environments, Leader Resilience, and Organizational Leadership for Every Circumstance.

President

Charles “Tank” Harris

 

Charles overcame a challenging upbringing to pursue higher education, initially majoring in Accounting at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. , Charles transferred to Temple University to pursue his dream of playing Division I collegiate football. However, a knee injury redirected his focus to Actuarial Science and Finance at Temple University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Charles managed his college teammate's professional football investment portfolio and began his career as a financial consultant at Smith Barney, achieving quick recognition. He later joined Paine Webber in 2000, where he built a substantial clientele in the sports and entertainment industry.

He founded his own financial services firm, eventually merging to establish The Sports and Entertainment Financial Group, LLC (SEFG), now one of the world's most recognizable business management firms. After selling his interest in SEFG in 2011, Charles returned to his financial roots.

He remains an active member of Temple University's alumni associations, advising foundations like the Andre Iguodala Youth Foundation and Channing Frye Foundation. Charles is also a sought-after guest speaker on financial literacy at educational institutions and sports industry events.

Vice President

Kiana Cardwell


Kiana is a sustainability and social impact professional with over 8 years of experience, an MBA in Sustainability, and a diverse portfolio of expertise. Her career spans roles such as a Sustainability Consultant, Director of ESG, and Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Talent Strategies. She has been a leader in both for and non-profit organizational development initiatives focused on strategy and competitive advantage. Driven by a passion for building inclusive communities and organizations, Kiana excels at forging partnerships, managing expectations, and driving positive change at every level.

Michael Rojas 


Michael Rojas graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and from Bard College with an MBA in Sustainability with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Michael has a deep interest in studying the intersection of engineering, purpose-driven entrepreneurship, and environmental justice. His work focuses on exploring the integrated-bottom line of people, planet, and economic prosperity to develop successful business cases for purpose-driven organizations. Michael cultivates a space where individuals are environmentally and socially conscious of their decisions. Michael has experience with project & program management, student mentorship, sustainable business strategy, and leadership development.

Having worked in the green building industry, impact finance, and with a background in ESG, Ashbel is well-versed in aligning business practices with environmental and social responsibility. His entrepreneurial spirit is showcased through his startup experience, contributing to innovative solutions that balance profitability with sustainability. With a commitment to fostering positive change, Ashbel's experience reflects a seamless blend of financial acumen, sustainability principles, and a proven track record in launching ventures that prioritize both profit and purpose.

Alison Mortimer

 

Alison, a licensed social worker in New Jersey with a concentration in mental health, has a B.S. in Health and Human Services from Pennsylvania State University and over 5 years of experience working to support others. Alison approaches this work with compassion, dedication, and a firm belief in the strength of community. Her journey has seen her navigate the complexities of school settings, provide care management support, and bridge the gap between individuals and resources through community initiatives.

Alison's ability to navigate complex systems, coupled with her unwavering passion for community development, fuels her drive to empower individuals and foster positive change within underserved populations.
